This was 10 year old #amalumer - this photo depicts her as a care-free, music doting, creative little girl. A little girl who could have survived to become the next doctor, writer, teacher, philanthropist or musician. Perhaps she could have saved a life; wrote volumes of literal geni; sung the National Anthem of any country ... taught other children Alas, No. A heart-breaking and ruthless No. Little Amal was mercilessly murdered by a stray bullet - shot by an AK47. Aimed and fired by a Police Officer, who should have never received the weapon in the first place. Her ambitions and childhood desires were ruthlessly laid to waste by two hospitals. One being a state funded institute. The other the renowned Aman Foundation. Both atrociously refused to provide adequate and basic medical assistance that might have saved her life. Why does a mother have to beg a charity to send an ambulance? Since when does a Father need to request(Correction. Plead!) that a hospital loan him breathing apparatus, so that his daughter can breathe? And the aftermath of all this begging, requesting, pleading: A gob-smacking, unethical and immoral refusal from both hospitals Amal s last breath was a testament of institutional and bureaucratic failures. Failures that hamper all human rights; lifes ambitions; and every citizen s right to life - no matter how young or old. May Allah have mercy on Amel s parents and sibling. Be at peace with Allah, little Angel. Humanity has failed you, but the Almighty Allah will not #amalumer #beenishumer #sad #instastory #book #poem #family #RIP #writersofinstagram #truth #Friday #news #pakistan #wakeup #literature #blog #change #bookstagram #blogger #photo #Gamnay

We all need to stand together and ask for reforms. Being a mother of two I seriously condemn all what the mother has shared in this article. How come a hospital refuses to give any assistance? How come ambulance didn’t arrive? How come police is using weapons which are not appropriate for them? There’s a proper course in army which is about fire Managment, is our police equipped with this knowledge? If not then why do they have ak47 in their hands? There should be rules of using weapons in the city. We demand reforms and we demand safe future for our kids. We demand a truly #NayaPakistan for our future generations I request all the parents on my FB to share and demand for these reforms. #amalweloveyou #demandforchange #primeminister #imrankhan #Pakistan Umer Adil Beenish Waiz @beenishwaiz @umer_adil #justiceforamalumer @amanfoundation @imran.khan.official @imrankhan.pti @ptiofficial https://www.dawn.com/news/1433274/how-the-system-failed-us

Parents in their social media posts demand a steady justice for Amal and robust reforms in the overall structure of society not a congregation of a disturbed, haphazard, overpowered, underpriviliged amalgum in the name of society where neither a security official nor a hospital helped Amal out in guarding her breaths. Concerned parents reacted with fury, anger and perplex and express their concerns for the betterment of their chidren.
