Opposition would devise a strategy if PTI government tried to ignore rigging

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday welcomed the formation of Parliamentary Commission against rigging in elections.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that our demand was that the opposition should have the chairmanship of the committee, adding that the PTI government should have accepted opposition’s demand if it had no fears.

We thought the issue of rigging in election was to be raised in the parliament, the PPP chairman said adding now they will try to resolve the issue through joint commission.

Bilawal went on to say that the grand opposition would devise a strategy if PTI government tried to ignore rigging.

“The speech of Finance Minister Asad Umar was not impressive as his speech was not like the speeches in the tenure of the opposition parties,” Bilawal said and added he would give more feedback on speech after reading the mini budget.
