KARACHI (Dunya News) - Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) Prisons on Monday has submitted a report regarding the alcohol bottles recovered from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Inam Memon’s room to higher authorities.

The report has been prepared by DIG Prisons after bottles of alcohol were discovered last week in Memon’s hospital room, also a designated sub-jail for the PPP leader. DIG Jail declared Sharjeel Memon employees responsible for tampering with evidence.

The report reveals that the evidence which was found from Sharjeel Memon’s room was tampered. Police said that PPP leader’s servants filled oil and honey in the alcohol bottles.
