Met Office forecasts more rain in different parts of the country

Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country during next 24 hours.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has expressed the likelihood of more rainfall in different parts of the country today (Monday).

According to the Met Office, seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan. Monsoon currents are penetrating northeastern parts of the country.

Met Office has predicted rain-thundershower with gusty winds at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Hazara divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

Weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country during the past 24 hours. However, rain-thundershower occurred at scattered places in Lahore division, while at isolated places in Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Dadu, Sibbi, Nukkundi remained the hottest places in the country on Sunday with temperature rising up to 42 °C.
