Rafique was summoned for the fourth time but made his second appearance in person.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A team of NAB investigators Wednesday questioned former Railways minister Khawaja Saad for three hours over alleged corruption in Paragon Housing Society and Pakistan Railways.

According to NAB sources, Rafique was summoned for the fourth time but made his second appearance in person before the investigators to record his statement.

The bureau reportedly found documents establishing Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique’s link to the Paragon City in Lahore.

A transfer deed of over 50 kanals bearing names of Khawaja brothers and Paragon City chief executive officer surfaced earlier this month. According to documents, the two also acquired land in Paragon City.

The former railways minister had earlier claimed that he had no link with the Paragon City. He is also accused of misusing government funds in purchasing engines and violation of regulations for renovation of railway lines.
