Sindh government has done tremendous work in law and order, health and education sectors

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday said that the federal government was not giving due share of budget to the provincial government.

Addressing post budget press conference in Karachi on Friday, he said that Indus River System Authority (IRSA) was providing 55 percent less water to Sindh.

The chief minister said that the federation didn’t release Rs127 billion this year, adding that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif announced Rs25 billion for Karachi but not a single penny was released.

Shah went on to say that despite being in government in federation and Punjab, party leaders were defecting from the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

He said that the Sindh government has done tremendous work in law and order, health and education sectors.
