Social media users call for chicken boycott as price soars

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Social media users have launched a campaign urging the individuals to boycott chicken over its “sky-rocketing price” ahead of Ramazan.
The sudden increase in the cost of chicken has been witnessed in various cities including Lahore and Karachi.
Usually, the chicken is sold at Rs150-200 per kg but with the approaching of Ramazan, the price has plummeted to Rs320.
Infuriated by the price hike, people are calling on to boycott buying chicken for three days to defeat the malicious motives of poultry mafia.
