NAB believes in across-the-board accountability: Javed Iqbal
Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that NAB did not believe in discrimination with anyone.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) –National Accountability Bureau chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal while chairing the executive board meeting of the bureau in Islamabad on Wednesday said that NAB follows a policy of fair, impartial and across the board accountability.
Javed Iqbal said that the sun of was not shining only on Punjab province but on the whole Pakistan so that darkness of corruption should be replaced with sunlight. NAB did not believe in discrimination with anyone.
This he stated in response to CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif’s statement during a Labour Day function in which he had said that the sun of NAB was only shining over Punjab and warned that the NAB’s double standards were unacceptable.
Javed Iqbal said that NAB believes in across-the-board accountability and added that NAB s agenda was to eliminate corruption from Pakistan.
