Will never sit silent: CJP Nisar

CJP said, "We are doing the work which government should do."
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday has said that he will never sit silent after seeing the problems of people living in Pakistan.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, CJP said, “We are doing the work which government should do.” He also thanked the lawyers for hanging his picture in the bar association for the first time.
Earlier today, CJP Mian Saqib Nisar visited Punjab Institute of Mental Health and met with patients.
During the visit, CJP inspected health facilities in different wards including emergency and discussed the problems of the patients. He also barred everyone from calling the hospital as mental asylum.
The emergency incharge briefed the CJP about the facilities after which, the top judge assured the patients to not get worried about anything.
He also went to Services Hospital to review the arrangements there.
I will visit every ward of every department in the hospital, he said to Medical Superintendent of the hospital.
Afterwards, CJP also summoned Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique in a suo motu notice regarding Rs60 billion losses in railway.
