Prime suspect in Karachi rape, murder case arrested

Accused Faqir Muhammad confessed to crime during investigation
(Web Desk) – The prime suspect in the rape and murder case of a six-year-old girl was arrested on Friday.
The arrested accused, Faqir Muhammad, confessed to the crime during investigation. “I killed the minor girl out of personal enmity with her father, Baqa Muhammad,” he told investigators.
Another suspect, Rahim, was also found involved in the gruesome incident.
According to police, the cousin of Baqa Muhammad is the ex-wife of Faqir Muhammad’s brother.
On Tuesday, a man was killed and three sustained injuries when police opened fire and resorted to baton-charge the protesters agitating against the alleged rape and murder of the minor girl in Karachi.

The minor girl had gone missing on April 15 after she left for a shop. Her tortured body was found from Manghopir Northern bypass later in the day.
