T T Singh: Jail Superintendent arrested on narcotics selling charge

Assistant Superintendent of District Jail Toba Tek Singh Waqar Alvi was arrested on charges of narcotics selling, Dunya News reported.

Police arrested a drug seller Hassan Mujtaba from 296 GB area of Toba Tek Singh who disclosed that Assistant Superintendent Jail Waqar Alvi supplies him narcotics.Police raided in Jail colony and recovered 1kg Hashish and 0.5kg heroin from Waqar’s possession and arrested him.The number of arrested persons involved in narcotics selling network has reached to 11 and most of them are police officials.
