Nisar changed his political affiliation for the fourth time in his career

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Governing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker in National Assembly (NA) changed his political affiliation to rival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Nisar Jutt parted ways with PML-N to become a member of PTI. This is the fourth time he has changed a political party in his career.

The legislator from Faisalabad’s NA-81 maintained his habit of changing political party to contest the general election. His move is being interpreted as closely linked with the 2018 general elections ahead.

The formal announcement was made after a meeting with PTI chairman Imran Khan where senior party leaders Fawad Chaudhry, Aleem Khan and Jahangir Tareen were also present.

Nisar had contested the 2002 elections from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ticket. He then moved to Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) for 2008 polls. In 2013, he parted ways with PML-Q and joined PML-N.
