Blind persons' protest brings metro bus operations to halt

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Blind persons staged a sit-in protest on Ferozpur Road bringing operations of metro bus to halt leaving commuters among other troubled.
The visually impaired citizens protested on Ferozpur Road after they recorded their protest on Mall Road and Ichrra earlier this week.

The locals have complained that the government promises them to give them jobs but nothing is done but rhetoric. They irked persons have vowed to continue protests until they are handed over letter of appointment.
Earlier this week, protest of the irked locals outside Punjab Assembly caused long queues of vehicles on Mall Road, Jail Road and Canal Road as a result of which the citizens and ambulances remained stuck in traffic congestion.
Various routes leading to Mall road were blocked by the police causing severe difficulties for the commuters.
