Provincial Minister for Rural Development Sindh Zubair Ahmad Khan narrowely escaped in a firing incident while standing outside his residence in Hyderabad, Dunya News reported.

MQM’s provincial minister was busy in dealing with public problems outside his residence in Hyderabad when some unknown motorcyclists opened fire on him and fled the scene. A heavy contingent of police surrounded the area.MQM chief Altaf Hussain demanded the govt to take notice of the incident and arrest the accused. Members of MQM coordination committee demanded of the Sindh Governor and the CM to take notice of the murder attack on Zubair Ahmad.Interior Minister Rehman Malik telephoned Zubair Ahmed and asked about his safety.
