CJP takes suo moto notice of VIP protocol routes
The Supreme Court also took notice of the condition of government hospitals in Karachi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday took notices of VIP protocol routes, bad condition of government hospitals in Karachi and admissions in private medical colleges.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar took three suo moto notices within a day. He issued notices to the authorities over established routes for VIP protocols across the country for the movement of renowned personalities. He voiced concerns over blocking main roads to ensure clear routes for VIP protocol.
Secondly, he issued notices to the government hospitals in Karachi that are suffering from poor condition. He summoned reports from the medical superintendents across the city and asked them to appear at the Karachi registry and address the concerns of the people.
Justice Nisar also ordered the authorities of various private medical colleges to submit reports regarding their admission procedures. He asked the CEOs of private medical colleges in Karachi to submit reports regarding their admission criteria and fee structure.
