On the orders of the Supreme Court, the city government Karachi has launched an operation to remove encroachments from parks, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

The SC had ordered the city government to remove encroachments from parks but the government had sought a one month time for this purpose. After the completion of paper work, the city government has launched the operation.In the first phase, operation is being carried out in Major Ashraf Shaheed Park in Gulberg Town. Rangers and police were also helping the anti-encroachment cell of the city government.
