Bilawal presided over a meeting of senior members of PPP today.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said on Monday that political opponents of the party have resorted to ill tactics to malign the front.
Bilawal presided over a meeting of PPP leaders including Member of National Assembly (MNA) Faryal Talpur, opposition leader in NA Khurshid Shah and Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah.
The leaders deliberated over potential political alliances for General Elections 2018 and elections in the Senate.
During the meeting, PPP chief directed the party leaders to chalk out a strategy for political alliances and parliamentary politics.
While briefing the media after the meeting, information secretary Maula Bakhsh Chandio said that president of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) functions on actions of the ‘third umpire’ and that the forthcoming General Elections are going to be tough for big political parties of Pakistan.
Chandio further said that PPP would not side with any front that would de-rail the democracy.
