Security forces rescue 18 hostages from a house in Turbat
At least 18 hostages including 16 foreigners were rescued by security forces from a house in Turbat.
TURBAT (Dunya News) – At least 18 hostages, including 16 foreigners, were rescued by the security forces from a house in Turbat on Monday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, security forces conducted a raid on intelligence report on a house in Turbat and rescued at least 18 hostages including 16 foreigners. The foreigners included 15 Nigerians and one Yemeni national.
Sources informed media that the rescued foreigners and Pakistani nationals were involved in drug peddling and were trying to smuggle narcotics to Europe via Iran.
Security forces also arrested two suspected kidnappers who kept these persons hostage in the house and also recovered arms from their possession. Further investigation is ongoing.
