Khan's reaction came around an hour after Nawaz Sharif's review petitions were disposed

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has seen disposal of Nawaz Sharif’s review petitions by a five-member bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) on Tuesday as a proof that the disqualified premier attempted to fool the people, the court and the parliament of Pakistan.

In a statement posted on social media, Imran Khan stated: “SC detailed judgement on NS Review petition s rejection has clearly stated Nawaz tried to fool parliament, the court & the people.”

Khan’s reaction came around an hour after Nawaz Sharif’s review petitions were disposed by the apex court in a detailed verdict.

According to the court’s order, the review petitions did not point out any loopholes in disqualification verdict of Nawaz Sharif. The court ruled that accountability court that is hearing corruption references against Nawaz Sharif and his family is free to deliver verdict that it deems appropriate in light of the evidence.


Anti-corruption march


Earlier today, PTI announced to launch an anti-corruption march in Sindh in the first week of December. According to the details, the three-day march would move through two divisions of Sindh and would entail two rallies in the province.

Imran Khan among leaders of the political party would lead the march in Sindh that would target alleged corruption done by the government of Sindh led by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
