'Wrong census data will affect entire country'

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar has insisted the Army, Judiciary and Federal Government to take notice of ‘wrong census data’

Karachi Mayor has boosted the public correspondence movement in the wake of alleged “wrong census data” with regard to Karachi.

Inviting people to the November 5 protest, the Karachi Mayor said that the number of inhabitants of Karachi in new census data has been reduced to 150 million from 300 million.

MQM-P leader said that miscalculations in census in a specific city, concerns the entire country. Moreover, he stressed that wrong census will result in disproportionate distribution of resources and faulty planning and management.

Karachi Mayor stressed the habitants of the city to actively participate in the protest and in the struggle to have their voice heard.
