LONDON (Dunya News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that four years ago no cricketing nation was will to visit Pakistan but tour of Sri Lanka team has brought back the international cricket to Pakistan and credit should be given to government for good work.
He was talking to journalists at the London’s Heathrow Airport soon after his arrival from Saudi Arabia on Late Sunday night. He said that stability returned to Pakistan during his four-year tenure.
He said that the 18 to 20-hour loadshedding in the country was ended by the government and added that fun of cricket has returned to Pakistan.
Former prime minister said that the people should recognize and differentiate between those who are behind the progress of the country and those who are leveling false allegations.
Nawaz Sharif further said that political instability has damaged the progress of the country.
