A brother in Khanewal shot dead his sister upon love marriage after calling her back via local elders council, Dunya News reported.

According to details, Asmat Parveen, a student of Intermediate was killed by her brother in Kot Momin Hussain area of Khanewal.Asmat and her close relative Javed loved and liked one another and they got married despite the differences of Asmat’s family.Asmat’s father registered a case of kidnapping against Javed and his family.The elders of the village were asked to solve the dispute in a local gathering.The wedded couple and Javed’s family were asked to appear before the elders’ council. When they arrived, Brother of Asmat started firing and killed his sister.
