Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that during recent rains Mayor Karachi refused to work

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Thursday said that resources are being provided to Mayor of Karachi Waseem Akhtar but he has decided not to work, reported Dunya News.

Earlier, on Thursday morning Shah reached Karachi Chamber of Commerce with five other ministers to meet with industrialists. After hearing their complaints, Shah said that during recent torrential rains, Karachi’s Mayor refused to work.

“All the work Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) should do are being done by Sindh government,” he said. He said that Saadi Town and other routes of water were constructed upon. “Everybody knows who did this construction,” he claimed.

Shah said that the issue of Aisha Bawani College became complicated because of the attitude of courts. “Courts are not willing to listen to our perspective,” he claimed. He said that few people have personally requested the court to allow for the opening of the college. “As soon as get court’s decision we will open the college,” he said.

Chief Minister further claimed that his government proposed development projects worth Rs. 10 billion, 750 billion have already been spent on the proposed projects.
