PPP Chairman and Benazir's daughters believe that release of terrorists is unjust and dangerous

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has rejected Benazir Bhutto murder case verdict ruled by Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday in which ex-President Pervez Musharraf is declared a fugitive while five accused are acquitted.

Responding on the decision, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said the verdict on Benazir Bhutto murder case is disappointing and unacceptable. He called it dangerous and unjust to release those accused of involvement in the 2007 assassination. PPP chief has announced that his party will explore legal options against the verdict.

“SMBB case decision is disappointing & unacceptable. Realse of terrorists not only unjust but also dangerous. PPP will explore legal options,” Benazir’s only son said on Twitter.

Moreover, both the daughter of Benazir, Asifa Bhutto and Bakhtawar Bhutto, disapproved the decision. Asif said Benazir’s 10 years later and we still await justice. Abettors punished but those truly guilty of my mothers murder roam free

“Musharraf ordered crime scene washed & doors locked trapping SMBB vehicle inside #ArrestMusharraf … police men arrested but actual terrorists acquitted #Shame … why has the state allowed self confessed murderers go free?! #Pakistan,” said Benazir’s elder daughter on Twitter.
