PTI demands explanation for govt expenditure on Nawaz's GT Road rally

Andleeb Abbasi has written to the Prime Minister looking for an explanation
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Andleeb Abbas of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has written to Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Sunday demanding explanation over spending taxpayers’ money to provide security and VVIP protocol to disqualified premier Nawaz Sharif in his ‘homecoming rally’.
The letter demands explanation off the government on why the ousted premier was let to reside in Punjab House and Prime Minister House in the federal capital after his disqualification.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has corruption references worth billions of Rupees against the ousted premier and he is permitted by the government to utilise hard earned money of the taxpayers, Abbas has complained.
Nawaz Sharif reached his Jati Umra residence after over 77 hours of Grand Trunck Road journey from Islamabad to Lahore in form of a rally. He delivered addresses to PML-N supporters in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Gujrat and Gujranwala.
Election commission has announced by-elections in NA-120 constituency on September 17 after Nawaz was disqualified in a corruption case.
