PM Nawaz will be jailed, predicts Imran
PTI Chairman said PM Nawaz presented forged documents in Supreme Court, will be jailed for 7 years
(Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan predicted on Thursday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be jailed for seven years for presenting forged documents in Supreme Court during Panama case proceedings after Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report.
“12 pending cases on Nawaz Sharif in NAB,” he said, adding that the premier had opened companies to support the corrupt practices. Imran Khan made it clear that he was not asking for PM’s resignation now as he will be automatically jailed with the rest of crooks. He said, “A special place is being prepared for him in Adyala Jail.”
No need to hit the roads for sit-ins now and whoever rejects the Supreme Court verdict will violate the constitution, Imran said. He claimed that the Sharif family had no original documents and those presented in the court are fake and forged. “Supreme Court rejected Qatari Prince letter,” he mentioned.
PTI Chairman asked why were the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders and PM Nawaz threatening the accountability. “In democracies, the leaders are held accountable,” he said while equating Nawaz Sharif with Mughal emperors.
He said the Sharif family had lied over and over again in the court, stating that the PM had been caught lying with fake records to prove money trail of London flats.
While media talk in the capital, Imran Khan said he was proud that overseas Pakistani doctors were returning to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) hospitals and called it a success. He highlighted the admission of a high number of children in KP government schools.
