Submit records according to PM speech in NA: Khurshid Shah
Panama case: Opposition leader opined that Sharif family had submitted old documents in new form
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah said Thursday that the Sharif family should submit records in the Supreme Court for Panama case according to the speech of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in National Assembly.
He affirmed that their lawyer had submitted same old documents in new form, adding that the ruling party had kept on attacking the court and JIT report rather than answering to the questions. “PM Nawaz is nervous which is why he is inaugurating incomplete projects already,” he said.
Khurshid Shah has also written a letter to National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq. It reads that the PM claimed to submit all evidence in the parliament while he actually has nothing in his defence. He declared the statements of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) an attack on the Supreme Court.
He said record tampering had been proved on SECP Chief Zafar Hijazi and they were favoured by not punishing him. Shah criticised saying PM has linked development projects with Panama case, stating that they will only consider those inaugurations which are done after the completion of project.
