They also highlighted an ongoing 'conflict' within PML-N on the issue of PM's resignation

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held a press conference in the capital where they stated on Thursday that political parties had agreed on the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after the report of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Panama case.

They also claimed that there is an ongoing conflict within Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) as the leaders are divided over PM’s resignation. The presser was held by Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Jehangir Khan Tareen.

Tareen said there is a lot of evidence in the JIT report to declare Nawaz Sharif ineligible. Qureshi complained that the PM used the words of ‘conspirators’ against them. He demanded the names of those involved in the ‘so-called’ conspiracy. “One wants the PM to resign while the other wants confrontation,” he said while highlighting the conflict within PML-N.

On the other hand, opposition leader Khurshid Shah has also demanded resignation from Nawaz Sharif. PML-N didn’t possess the strength to go on offensive against the rest of the political parties, he added.
