COAS Bajwa greets international footballers including Ronaldinho
Gen Qamar Bajwa hosted the footballers and thanked them for visiting Pakistan
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa greeted the international footballers including Ronaldinho who arrived in Islamabad today for participation in the Leisure Leagues matches.
As per details, fomer Barca striker Ronaldinho along with his fellow international football players including Ryan Giggs, Robert Pires, Nicolas Anelka, George Boating, David James and Luis Boa Morte met General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) today.
COAS expressed his thanks to the star players for visiting Pakistan.
At the occasion, General Bajwa expressed that Pakistan is a peace and sports loving country.
"Sports promote peace and your visit is most welcomed by all Pakistanis especially young footballers," COAS professed.
The visiting players also thanked COAS for organizing their tour and the support.
They revealed that Pakistan is a beautiful country and that they are look forward to enjoy their trip to the country.
Army Chief also thanked Leisure League for their brilliant efforts in organizing the trip in collaboration with Pak Army and thus helping in promoting peace and sports.
