Modi govt and Indian forces in held Kashmir appear too terrified from the martyred freedom fighter

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Photo and video posts related to the martyred freedom fighter Burhan Wani in held Kashmir have reportedly been removed from Facebook and YouTube.

The government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian forces in the occupied valley of Kashmir appear too frightened to face the rising support for the martyr. Today also marks his death anniversary due to which there is a complete shutdown, marked by curfew and other restrictions, is being observed across the territory.

His father and other supporters were locked inside homes and stopped from visiting his grave. Also, the access of internet and mobile network remains compromised. Reports claim that Indian forces have asked for the government’s permission to use ‘sting bombs’ to disperse the rallies.

Unprovoked firing across the Line of Cross (LoC) was exercised by the soldiers of Indian forces from held Kashmir. Two civilians including one woman were martyred in the act. Pakistan Army gave a befitting response to the firing and silenced their guns. Indian deputy High Commissioner was summoned at the Foreign Office to explain the cross-border aggression.

All resistance leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi and Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai continue to remain in detention or under house arrest.
