WEB DESK - Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Mountaineer Lieutenant Colonel Doctor Abdul Jabbar Bhatti (Retired) at CMH Rawalpindi.
COAS felicitated him for his outstanding achievement to become the fourth Pakistani to scale the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.
Gen Bajwa appreciated him for milestone achievement while professing that the effort is a great contribution to keep Pakistan s flag high.

While scaling the world’s highest peak, Colonel Abdul Jabbar is the first Pakistani from Punjab to achieve the milestone.
The other three Pakistanis who scaled the Mount Everest before Bhatti hailed from Gilgit-Baltistan. These mountaineers include Nazir Sabir, Hassan Sadpara and Samina Baig.
