PML-N counselors turn TMA session into battlefield in Khanewal

KHANEWAL (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) counselors Tuesday turned Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) session into a battlefield in Khanewal.
The proceedings of the meeting had not begun yet when workers of PML-N got involved in a brawl, punched and kicked each other, used batons and threw chairs as well.
Police arrived when situation got out of control, but could not do anything to stop the violent PML-N workers. Witnessing the helplessness of police, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Maqbool Jutt starting slapping himself.
During the clash between PML-N workers, the equipment of TMA office also broke down. The workers sustained injuries as a result of this riot, and had to be transferred to the hospital.
