Free medical treatment in Pakistan to injured of Mazar e Sharif attack was offered by delegation

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - On the directions of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, a high-level Pakistan Army delegation headed by Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar visited Afghanistan today, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The delegation met Afghanistan acting defence minister Mr Tariq Shah Bahramee and Chief of Army Staff General Mohammad Sharif Yaftali.

Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar conveyed condolences on behalf of COAS Bajwa on loss of innocent lives in Mazar-e-Sharif terrorist attack and expressed solidarity with Afghan forces and people.

Free medical treatment in Pakistan to injured of Mazar e Sharif attack was also offered by the delegation.

The Pakistan Army delegation held talks with Afghan forces on bilateral border coordination measures. Afgan authorities were conveyed that Pakistan Army has control in all areas on Pakistan side of the border and shall not allow its soil to be used against Afghanistan.

The message was conveyed that terrorists are common threat and shall be defeated at any cost.
