CPEC will bring positive changes in lives of people: PM Nawaz
We should learn from the development and progress in China, said PM Nawaz.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Friday has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring positive changes in the lives of the people.
Talking at launching ceremony of Urdu edition of book "The Governance of China" by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Nawaz Sharif said that Jinping is great leader and best friend of Pakistan. He said that the book also revolves around the life of common man.
He said people ask what is the secret ingredient of the phenomenal undertaking of CPEC and we say it is trust and friendship between the two countries.
“We should learn from the development and progress in China,” he added.
The premier said that Pakistan is proud to work with China in the implementation of Beijing s flagship project of One Road, One Belt. He said multilateral institutions especially the United Nations need to play a more proactive role to eliminate poverty and empower people.
