Sindh Assembly rejects resolution to build trauma centers
The provincial assembly witnessed light discussions on gym, beauty salons and pickles
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Assembly on Tuesday rejected a resolution to build trauma center with majority votes. Also, the provincial legislative body witnessed light discussions on pickles, beauty salons and gym.
The attendees in the assembly were reduced to laughter when Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani told jokes during session. While addressing to Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, he said, “Mister Acting Minister, you ‘act’ well.”
The light discussion went on for some time and involved other parliamentarians as well. The Speaker mentioned about his affection to Saifuddin Khalid over which the latter nodded.
Agha Siraj Durrani suggested him to lose weight. On the other hand, Saifuddin Khalid recalled pickles when someone mentioned Shikarpur as he requested the Speaker to invite all for dinner.
During the session, Speaker revealed that Saifuddin Khalid wrote everyone’s leave applications. Meanwhile, a resolution to form trauma centers in all districts was rejected in the Sindh Assembly.
