Army Chief meets Peshawar Zalmi players, Javed Afridi
The meeting with PSL 2017 champions took place in Lahore and ISPR tweeted the highlights of it
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The owner of Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, along with its players met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday.

Army Chief congratulated team Zalmi on their victory in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017. Peshawar Zalmi, led by Darren Sammy, had defeated Sarfraz Ahmed s Quetta Gladiators in the exciting contest that took place in Lahore.
ISPR DG Major General Asif Ghafoor was also present during the meeting. He tweeted about the incident, "We r soldiers of Pak & stand with Pak Army in promoting peace & national harmony. Gen Bajwa gave suggestions to the players at which they thanked him.
