Army Chief salutes valour of martyred soldiers
COAS professed that our life and blood is for Pakistan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid rich tributes to the soldiers martyred in fight with terrorists in FR Bannu area, reported Dunya News.
COAS let it be known that there is no sacred deed equivalent to sacrificing one’s life in defence of motherland.
He professed that our life and blood is for Pakistan.
It is worth mentioning here that two Pakistan Army soldiers, Lieutenant Khawar and Naik Shehzad, martyred in gunfight with terrorists in the Jani Khel area of Frontier Region Bannu on Thursday.
The funeral prayers of the martyred soldiers were held at Peshawar Garrison and were attended by Peshawar Corps Commander Lt General Nazir Ahmed Butt and Commander Army Air Defence Command Lt Gen Zahid Latif and other senior serving civil and military officers and soldiers.
The body of Lieutenant Khawar was taken to his native area of Kotli Azad Kashmir while that of Naik Shehzad to Mansehra.
Both the soldiers would be buried with full military honour in their native areas.
