Karachi: 5 accused nabbed in police operation

Police conducted operation in different parts of Karachi on Friday and apprehended five accused.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police crackdown against criminal elements under National Action Plan (NAP) continues in Karachi as five more accused were arrested on Friday during operation in different parts of the city, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police conducted an operation in Madina Colony and arrested two drug peddlers. Police also recovered large quantity of drugs from their possession.
Police also conducted an operation in Zaman Town area of Korangi and arrested three accused in injured condition after an encounter. According to SP Landhi Rao Asif, three TT pistols were recovered from arrested accused.
On the other hand, an activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)-London died mysteriously in Landhi Jail. Body of the dead MQM-London worker was shifted to Civil Hospital. The MQM-London sources said that the dead activist was from Unit 88 of Bagh Korangi area.
