Willingness of foreign investors proof of successful policies: PM
Nawaz Sharif said that CPEC will be a milestone in regional communication and progress
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired an important session in relevance to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Wednesday, reported Dunya News.
“International investors are taking keen interest to invest in Pakistan”, the prime minister addressed the gathering.
He said that project CPEC has the status of a milestone in regional communication and progress for the country while our successful economic policies are a proof of emerging foreign investment.
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal was also present in the session from the Chinese capital Beijing who briefed PM about activities of mutual cooperation committee. He said that both parties agreed to an energy production project that will yield 300 megawatts.
He told the session that China has expressed satisfaction after inspecting the hydropower project on River Indus for CPEC.
