Fazlur Rehmans Saudi visit can influence Hujj scam probe: Kazmi

Former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Hamid Saeed Kazmi has said that JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahmans demand of Prime Ministers resign came before his departure to Saudi Arabia, so that he can put his influence on the Hujj scam probe team. While talking to media, former minister said that it was not a suitable time for Maulana Fazlur Rahman to visit Saudi Arabia and he denied commenting on corruption case filed against him. He said that he was not involved in Hujj corruption and Dr Abdul Qadeer has also insisted about my innocence. He further said that the Ministry of Religious Affairs was not involved in corruption but only Hujj contractors were involved in the corruption. Answering a question, the minister said that he will not leave the party adding that no amendment would be made in blasphemy laws without religious leaders consultation.
