Zardari telephones Nawaz, discusses political situation

President Asif Ali Zardari has telephoned PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and discussed current political situation in the country. Meanwhile, expediting its efforts to woo back one of its estranged allies, President Asif Ali Zardari has formed a three member committee to hold talks with MQM. The committee includes Rehman Malik, Qaim Ali and Khursheed Shah to resolve MQM grievances. According to sources, PPP has decided to fire Zulifar Ali Mirza to woo the MQM. President Zardari has asked the party members to avoid issuing statements against allies.
