Prisoners couldn't be freed from Jeddah jails despite being proven innocent due to incompetence
JEDDAH: (Dunya News) – Pakistani prisoners in Jeddah jail could not be freed despite being proven innocent due to the incompetence of Pakistani consulate in Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday reported Dunya News.
According to details, 750 Pakistani prisoners have been freed from Jeddah jail out of the total 3000 but due to the incompetence and laxity of Pakistani consulate they are still stuck in the jails.
The prisoners say that the consulate doesn’t lend them an ear. They appealed to Pakistan government and the high officials to arrange for their release so that they may return to their homes.
