Polling for NA-258 by-election underway in Karachi
The polling would continue till 5:00 pm without any interruption.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Voting process for by-election in NA-258 constituency of Karachi’s Malir District has started at 8:00 am today (Monday).
The polling would continue till 5:00 pm without any break.

Reportedly, PPP Abdul Hakeem Baloch is likely to win the by-election as the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have already boycotted the polls.
Police and Rangers personnel have been deployed both inside and outside the polling stations. Out of 287 polling stations, 68 have been declared highly sensitive, while 219 polling stations were regarded sensitive.
The election was earlier scheduled on November 24, but the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) postponed the polls because the Rangers men were busy in IDEAS 2016 till Nov 26.
The seat was vacated by former PML-N MNA Hakeem Baloch, who resigned from the party and joined the PPP.
