Mujib ur-Rehman Shami received message from Zafar protesting against calling Hindus as brothers

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – In an interesting conversation between two senior journalists of Pakistan, Mujib ur-Rehman Shami rejected Saleh Zafar’s protest against calling Hindus as his brothers. He said that all the Hindus living in Pakistan were his fellow brothers.

During Dunya News program Nuqta-e-Nazar, Shami had called Hindus as brothers. Saleh Zafar sent him a message, saying that Hindus couldn’t be brothers.

However, Shami responded to Saleh Zafar’s protest by telling him on the show during the next segment that all the Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and other minorities living in Pakistan were like brothers to him.

Shami went on to say that even the non-Muslims living in other parts of the world, with no negative plans against Pakistan, were his brothers of humanity. “My message is that of love, wherever it reaches”, he concluded.
