Faisalabad: Industrialists refuse to follow gas load-management schedule
Industrialists and factory owners of Faisalabad have categorically refused to follow the new gas load-management plan of Sui Northern Ga s Pipelines Limited and have started the regular work at all factories , Dunya News reported on Saturday. However gas suplly has been reduced by 70-80% in the city. Industrialists are of the view that the government had announced a two-day off of gas supply but now the gas companies are not following the agreed schedule. 6 giants of the textile industry have said that if the present 3-day off schedule continues till the next week then they would initiate a movement against the decision after Ashura-e Muharram. Industrialists have also said that only Punjab is being hit by cutting gas supply while no factorty has been closed in any other province.
