LAHORE (Dunya News) – A pro-Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) lawyer on Friday tortured a citizen in Lahore while protesting against the arrests of party workers.
The man riding a bicycle was going with his two children when the lawyer slapped him.
The lawyers were staging a protest on Mall Road and burnt tyres.
The lawyer Shahid Naseem Gondal tried to stop the ongoing traffic during which the incident happened.
While talking to Dunya News, the lawyer refuted from his actions.
He explained that he was only trying to stop the pillion rider and did not torture him.
President Supreme Court Bar Ali Zafar has condemned behaviour of the lawyers.
Meanwhile, Vice President of PTI’s Punjab Lawyers Wing Gohar Nawaz Sindhu apologized over the happening.
He said that PTI lawyer has tried to undermine the movement.
