LoC firing: Funeral prayers of martyred army soldier offered in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – The funeral prayer of martyred army soldier, killed by Indian firing at Line of Control (LoC) yesterday, was offered in Faisalabad last night.

Naik Imtiaz Ahmad embraced martyrdom in Bhimber sector.

The soldier belongs to Hajveri Town of Faisalabad.

His funeral prayers were offered in Government Islamia College’s ground and were attended by senior military and civil officials, relatives and friends.



Naik Imtiaz Ahmad’s father expressed pride over his son’s martyrdom. The residents of the area said that the martyr had given them honour and dignity.

The martyred soldier was the youngest of eight siblings. He has left behind a widow and three daughters.

The other martyred soldier, Hawaldar Jumma Khan, will be laid to rest in his hometown Faqeer Kot in Istoor today.

The slain soldier has left behind a widow, a son and two daughters.
