Azadi Train reaches Karachi
Azadi Train which had started its journey on August 11 from Islamabad has reached Karachi on Sunday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Azadi Train, which started its journey on August 11 from Margalla Railway Station Islamabad, has reached Karachi on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan was present at the Cantt Railway Station to welcome the Azadi Train. The train will stay in Karachi for three days and will be open for public to visit.
Azadi Train contains coaches representing the culture and traditions of all the four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Two coaches of the Azadi Train have been reserved for Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) which would highlight sacrifices of the war heroes and pay tributes to the Armed Forces for their services for the nation. These ISPR bogies were added to exhibit the pictures of the sacrifices and the models based on modern weaponry.
