LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif stated on Friday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) shall achieve success in the upcoming general elections as well and stated that the by-elections in Burewala and Jhelum gave an idea about the desires of the public, reported Dunya News.

PM Nawaz laid the foundation stone of the Eastern bypass in Kala Shah Kaku and while addressing a ceremony afterwards, he stated that the outcomes of the steps taken in the previous three years have beginning to emerge.

Prime Minister said that power houses were being installed all around the country in order to counter energy related issues. He stated that 40 new hospitals were being constructed in the country.  The world acknowledges that Pakistan is progressing,  he said, further adding that unemployment in Pakistan will vanish if the country continues to prosper at the same rate.

 We are aiming towards the prosperity and the overall interests of the country,  PM Nawaz said. He criticised Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rasheed and stated that a politician belonging to Rawalpindi was predicting for the last three-and-a-half years that the government shall cease to function soon.  I would like to tell him (Sheikh Rasheed) that he should carry on with his parrot astrology as we shall enjoy success in the future as well based on our performance,  he said.

He further added that that the politician belonging to Rawalpindi might not be able to secure his Member of National Assembly (MNA) seat in the upcoming elections as well. He said that the public rejected the politics based on sit-ins and aimed towards prosperity and development.
