Pano Aqil: Breach in Korai Canal floods several villages
Water entered in at least five villages after a seventy foot breach in Korai Canal near Pano Aqil.
PANO AQIL (Dunya News) – At least five villages have been submerged by water after a seventy foot wide breach in the Korai Canal near Pano Aqil on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
The water also inundated hundreds of acres of agricultural land near Goth Bhailar and now advancing towards the National Highway. According to details, local residents volunteered to fill the breach by themselves.
DC Sukkur also reached the spot to and oasked the local administration to start rescue operation.
